Stained Glass Conservator wanted - Canterbury Cathedral
Canterbury Cathedral’s Stained Glass Studio is looking to recruit a conservator to join their highly skilled team, commencing in October 2014. The ideal candidate would be a Stained Glass Conservator with sound craft skills in glazing and experience in site work. It is essential that the candidate is able to work at height, and able to drive a large van.

Worshipful Company of Glaziers Awards
Professional Development Awards
This award offers financial support (tuition + subsistence) to professional glass workers who have been working in the craft full time for at least five years, to improve a skill or learn and practise a new one, under the supervision of a senior practitioner. This may be through a specified short course or through a suitable short workshop placement.
Conservation Accreditation Awards
Four Accreditation Awards are offered annually. These are grants of £300 towards the cost of attaining ICON (Institute of Conservation) PACR (Professional Accreditation as Conservator/Restorer) status.
