Stained Glass Walks and Talks
Through this summer programme of guided visits, members are given the opportunity to explore some of the hidden treasures of stained glass around the country. Local guides, often practising stained glass artists themselves, lead small groups along a fascinating trail of working studios, town and country churches and often less accessible stained glass sites.

Lunch in St Albans Abbey refectory before a visit to the Abbey where Caroline and Tony Benyon will talk about their St Columba window, recently installed. A wealth of glass including the great rose, again by Alan Younger. In the afternoon a visit to St Andrew’s, Cuffley a modern church on a spectacular hilltop site and with a rare collection of fused Whitefriars windows by Alf Fisher.
