Antique glass, plated, acid etched, painted and silverstained. This decorative panel incorporates all the traditional methods used in making stained glass, i.e. acid etching, painting staining and plating and held together with lead. By plating the red and blue flashed glass in the roundel it is possible to achieve many different colours and tints within the one area. I enjoy colour and like to use Christian symbols in ecclesiastical work rather than figures. I think that the pattern of leads in a window should form a structure of its own.
